Created In 2020 as a State Of Colorado Registered DBA under the 501 (c) (3) Whistler Entertainment Inc, Scarletts Way Is yet another "vision of compassion". Uniting children born with Fibular Hemimelia and Military Veterans with limb loss, we have set a stage where "shared challenges lead to shared strengths!"

The Scarletts way Story!
On 1/22/16, Scarlett Rose Whitmore came barreling into this world in all her perfection. Born with Fibular Hemimelia, Scarlett was missing her fibula in her right leg. Faced with the heart wrenching decision to have their daughter go through years of grueling leg lengthening treatments, or the option of amputation, Andrew and Kelsey Whitmore chose lower leg amputation for Scarlett at 9 months of age. Their choice has clearly been the correct one.
Having founded the 501 (c) (3) Whistler Entertainment Inc in 2011 in order to give back to the local hospice following his fathers death, and in the same year starting the Veterans organization Base Camp 40, Warriors In The Wild, Scarletts grandfather Paul Bristol has now set in motion yet another mission of the heart in Scarletts Way. With the first "Casting Scarletts Way" fishing trip in the books, a trip that united two families of children with FH, and two Military Veterans who are amputees, the Vision has now found its purpose and direction. Roy, Kristine, and Braden McMahon joined Scarletts family, along with Army Veterans Drew Edwards and Ray Robinson, for three days of sharing, mentoring, and perspective resetting on the beautiful Bedford Ranch in Glade Park, CO. There are no words to adequately describe the impact...
In 2022, Scarletts Way looks to expand this life changing trip to include two more families, and two more Veterans , in addition to adding other activities throughout the year that open doors for these children to discover that any activity is possible. Rather than a "disability", it is a "diffability" . It may take longer and some assistance may be needed, but their goals are without constraints, and their limitations diminished. The ability awaits, only needing a "different" means to achieve the goal of saying, "I did it!"
